If You're Ever In Need Of Some Levity

And after my last couple posts, I think we all need a bit.

Watch these:

1 - Eddie Izzard - Dressed to Kill

2 - Eddie Murphy - Delirious

3 - Bill Cosby - Himself

4 - Chris Rock - Chris Rock

5 - Chris Rock - Bigger and Blacker

6 - Robin Williams - Live 2002

7 - George Carlin - ANYTHING AT ALL

8 - Ron White - They Call Me Tater Salad

And I could keep going . . but those are the cream of the crop.
I was torn about what to blog today.
I had lots of options: My semi-odd, kinda-date with Mr. Clean last night, my new job offer and possible relocation, my morning conversation with my doctor, etc.

However, lists always beat out all the rest!
You can, if you wish, cast a vote for which of the others you would like to hear about. :) hahahaha

Wait just a damn minute!! Your date with Mr.Clean??!! You're not getting off that easy...

I second that emotion - my vote is definitely for the semi-odd kinda-date with Mr. Clean. (although would like to hear about the others too)

As per dating in DC, apparently it's all a hoax:

It's good to know someone's creative writing classes came in handy.

I'm posting anonymously because I have have a reputation to uphold. ;-)

MEG! A semi-date with Mr Clean? A JOB Offer? A POSSIBLE RELOCATION? Are you wanting to bury us? I mean, even a conversation with you dangle all this in front of us and just expect us to pick and contraire mon frair!

Here's the part where I'm a shameless "Fan of Meghan" ...I'll enjoy anything you write on those topics!

Rolligun said...

Yeah, I'm with those guys, I want the details. It's kind of like here "look at all these wonderful presents, but how 'bout you open these socks first."

What's up Meghan?

And why isn't Mitch Hedberg on your list?

I vote that you write about your morning conversation with yourself.

Beachgirl - Na nah nah nah nah (tongue sticks out) . . . maybe I'll give details. Hmm . . maybe.

Lizzie - Do you know the back story? You gotta know the back story to know how BIG this semi-date kinda was.

Way Too Much - Hmmm, I wonder who that could be (sarcasm evident)! Thank GOD it's a hoax, I about lost it when I saw that!!

Eunuch - I know, I know, there is far too much going on in my life right now. FAR too much. Ask Beachgirl to fill you in on what the hell happened during "lunch hour" . . which was AFTER I posted this . . I should have added another option!

Jenni - LOVE YOU MUCH! You give me far too much credit. FAR.

Rolligun - LOL! I'm such a tease. I know it. I embrace it. It's Southern charm at it's best. Mitch Hedberg - huh? Who? Say what? Details from you so I don't have to do research . . .

Anon Cow - How did you know I had a morning conversation with myself??? And how did you know I already typed it up and disregarded it as a blog?? It's sitting in WordPerfect at this very second wasting away. Seriously. I mean it. (scared-of-the-psychic-powers-of-Anonymous-Coward-girl now runs and hides)

Eddie Izzard rocks!!

Unless the possible relocation is Down Under, lets talk about the other things ;o)

Spill girl!! Don't make me come over there and shake you!

P.S Chris Rock, Robin Williams and Eddie Murphy top my list too.

If you can, get hold of Glorious and Circle by Izzard. They're classic! I own all those 2 and Dress to Kill on DVD.

meghansdiscontent said...

TFS - Amen!

Steph - LOL, maybe I'll spill tomorrow since there's a repeat tonight . . . And I knew you had good tastes! Shoes and comedians . . wow. Wanna try and be lesbos instead of sisters?

TFS - I have Circle, I wasn't too impressed . . I think I just have this love for Dress to Kill that transcends all his other work. I haven't seen Glorious though.

To hell with choosing.

I want it all.
I want it all.
I want it all.
I want it now.

Are you really sure you want to deny us? Your loyal loving fans? You've so turned rockstar on us!

Is he "Mr. Clean" because he's really tidy or is he bald? =/

George Carlin!!!!

Adam - Lurv of my life, you must choose something for me to write about. At least FIRST. Give me an order. I'll write about all of them, but what do you MOST want to hear about. If I wrote about ALL the recent developments NO ONE would read it because it would be TOO LONG!!!

Laurie - He's Mr. Clean because I met him at the dry cleaners . .not nearly so exciting as being tidy or bald. Though, now that you mention it, he is super tidy.

Verbs - YAY! I still can't sit through ANY George Carlin without laughing so hard I hurt myself. (also loved him in Dogma . . Buddy Jesus, that's great)
